She made sure everything was on point and timely. but the best part was Gabby the waitress she was soo soo nice and kind. The food was exceptional I had the shrimp scampi and it was perfect. Quahog fritters were new for us and now we know why they’re a local favorite and I would have licked my lobster and corn bisque soup bowl if I knew no one would see me. Yes, but maybe it was the heat or just that we were having the best day in Woods Hole, but this place was worth the stop! I had the fish tacos, my husband had the fish and chips and our kids had shrimp! All were very delicious, and they had bottled root beer for the kids which was cute and a big hit with our kids. Their location and proximity to the water is for sure a huge draw to this place. Our food was good! Especially for a touristy feeling spot. Our boys walked around scoping out boats until our food arrived. want to be right on the water by the boats. We sat out on the patio, but they also have dock seating if you. We happened upon Captain Kidd’s and they were able to seat us immediately (it was around 2pm). We wanted a quick lunch in Wood’s Hole and to be on the water.
